Police Search for Suspect in Sale of Counterfeit Watch
Suspect wanted in several states sold a counterfeit Rolex to Hermosa Beach store owner, according to police.
A man suspected of selling a counterfeit Rolex watch to a Hermosa Beach jewelry store owner is wanted in Virginia, South Carolina, Florida and New York, as well as in Hermosa Beach, according to police.
Ian Kosloff, 34, of the Bronx, N.Y., showed the local jeweler a counterfeit Rolex Milgauss watch at about 3 p.m. Monday, detectives said in a statement Wednesday. The jeweler examined the item, but didn’t remove the backing to ensure its authenticity, they said.
The store owner bought the watch for $3,900, according to police.
