Preparations Begin for St. Patrick's Day Parade
Applications for the Hermosa Beach parade are now available.
Hermosa Beach is getting an early start on parade preparations for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day.
Applications to take part in the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade now are available on the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce’s website.
The parade application deadline is Feb. 24 at 5 p.m., the chamber announced last week. Parade entries are encouraged to register early. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
Since 1995, the parade has been a significant part of the community and now about 100 local businesses, organizations and marching bands take part in the parade, drawing thousands of people to town, according to the chamber.
The procession this year will begin at 11 a.m. on March 17 in downtown Hermosa Beach.
