Parents and Halloween-happy children filled Fort Lots of Fun for community festivities Saturday afternoon.

Parents and children streamed into Fort Lots of Fun, a cozy park on the corner of 6th Street and Prospect Avenue, to enjoy a few hours of early Halloween festivities. Face painting, pumpkin decorating and a puppet show kept the crowd entertained despite the October drizzle. Saturday's event was put on by Friends of the Parks, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving local parks and other recreational grounds.
