Celebrities to highlight Terranea Resort’s “Jazz Through the Generations” festival.

Rancho Palos Verdes, CA — South Bay non-profit Freedom4U has announced the fourth annual “Jazz Through the Generations” festival at Terranea Resort that will feature performances by famous jazz artists and up-and-coming musicians.

Hosted by Freedom4U, this concert on August 25th from 2:00pm - 6:00pm at Los Angeles’s Terranea Resort will feature famous artists such as the Jeff Hamilton trio, the Sammy Miller band, Richard Sherman and Bill Redd.

“I can’t believe some of these performers!” says Max Sverdlov, a enthusiastic high school saxophonist, “these are the people who everyone in jazz has looked up to for years! And now they’re right here, in Palos Verdes!”

Headlining the event will be the Jeff Hamilton Trio, led by their namesake Jeff Hamilton, a widely renowned drummer. Critics consider him one of the premier leaders in contemporary Jazz. The Sammy Miller band will also perform and this event will feature special appearances by musicians who have served as mentors to aspiring community artists.

“I’m glad they are doing this again!” says PV local Matt Huber, “I had a lot of fun last year! I’m glad I got tickets.”

This event will be open to the public August 25th, 2013 at Terranea Resort from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Seating and tickets can be reserved by visiting freedomcommunity.com or contacting Freedom4U at 310.897.5043.
