The 2nd Annual Froth Awards

This Saturday, The 2nd Annual Froth Awards will take place at Saint Rocke. Last year was a HUGE success and we are SO STOKED for round 2! This year we have some past participants and a lot of new ones! Didn't make it last year? Let me tell you what it's all about. Gastropubs and breweries will team up to create pairings of craft beer and delicious food for attendees to taste.

While you chow down on a lot of goodness, there will be LIVE Irish and Bluegrass music as well raffles and giveaways of lots of fun stuff. Who doesn't love to win while they drink beer and eat?!

Tickets are $25, and include your beer and food tastings from all participants. The doors open at 1PM, and the first tasting will begin at 2PM.

We went last year so we thought we'd try it again. It was horrible! The food was served mostly cold & it was almost all red meat that was overcooked & tough (per our friends). Since neither my husband or I eat red meat, it was a total rip-off. They need to think of this when preparing the menu. The only good thing was the beer selection. We won't be going next year.

Hey Lori- I'm sorry to hear you didn't have a good time. The local gastropubs that put the menu items together for that event were working in our very small kitchen, trying to get over 100 dishes out in a very short period of time, so that could have been why an item wasn't hot. As for the red meat only, there were two menu items that were not red meat, we were serving up chips, guacamole, salsa, and we also had a pizza bar going on all day thanks to Fresh Brothers. The only way we can fix issues is if people speak up. We had another person at the event who was vegetarian and let us know. We helped him out and made sure he had options all day so he didn't feel jipped. We can't solve a problem if we don't know it exists. Just let us know next time and we'll do the best to sort it out. Hope you give it another try next year. Thanks, Sara Saint Rocke
