Donate Blood in Hermosa Sunday
Comedy & Magic Club and Fritto Misto Italian Restaurant are pitching in with tickets to the club and a delicious dessert.
You never know when blood will be needed.
In the spirit of helping others who need it, the Hermosa Beach Blood Drive will be held Sunday at the Clark Building, 861 Valley Drive, from noon to 6 p.m.
Event organizer Candy Ayllon-McPhail encourages all who can to participate with the slogan: "Be A Blood Donor, We Need Your Type."

The drive will support the needs of patients at the Providence Little Company of Mary Hospital.
Blood donors will receive "thank yous," including a ticket for 2 to The Comedy & Magic Club for Tuesday through Thursday shows, an In & Out Burger gift card and a " Lifesaver Band" made of high-grade stainless steel, designed by Insaecula. Fritto Misto Italian Restaurant, 316 Pier Ave., is donating free dessert during the drive, she said.
