Little girl 4 yrs old found near the pier after wandering off from sleeping mother near 22nd street lifeguard stand on Sunday the 12th.
As adults gathered later and talked about the situation this came up as a solution.

In Argentina the families all know this signal. They spend a lot of time at the beach and this signal is common knowledge in this country,
IF you find a child at the beach pick it up and put it on your shoulder and start clapping. Other beach goers pick up on it and the distraught family searching quickly walks in the direction of all the clapping.
