Hearts of Hermosa and Spring Cleaning

The school fundraiser is this weekend, along with a beach tennis tournament and free stroller cleaning.

Hermosa Beach parents can raise money for local schools with a dinner and dance at Saint Rocke. Plus, jump start spring cleaning with a free appointment to scrub baby strollers and car seats. Here are the weekend happenings for local families.

Tennis on the Sand

Hermosa Beach families can watch a at 14th Street and the Strand as doubles play at 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. There will be several matches throughout the afternoon, if the weekend weather permits.

Hearts of Hermosa

Parents can dance the night away at an auction and dinner Saturday night while also raising money for the Hermosa Beach Education Foundation. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. for the annual fundraiser at Saint Rocke on PCH, where there will be live music. Tickets cost $140 per person and can be purchased online. Proceeds will benefit Hermosa Beach public schools.

Spring Cleaning for Stroller

A is scheduled to roll into town Sunday. The CleanBeeBaby will be stationed at Pampered Tot on PCH from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering 30-minute appointments for steam cleaning and even the reinstallation of car seats. Services will be on a first-come, first-served basis. A waitlist will be available.
