The current Leadership Hermosa Beach class will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony Saturday at 11 a.m. to celebrate its Walk Hermosa project.
The ribbon cutting, wich will take place near the Hermosa Beach Pier, will give class members the opportunity to talk about their class project of placing signs that encourage walking throughout town. The signs include information on how many steps you are from specific locations in the city.
Leadership Hermosa Beach provides residents with an opportunity to learn about how city governments work.
