Owners Looking for Lost Dog, Schmoo

The black and tan, 6.5-pound neutered male chihuahua/terrier mix was last seen in Hermosa Beach.

Hershal “Schmoo” Walter, a neutered black and tan male chihuahua/terrier mix who is nearly 3-years-old, slipped out of his leash and collar sans his ID tag in Hermosa Beach and his owners want to find him.

Schmoo was last seen at 5 p.m. Friday at Valley Drive and 2nd Street. His owners believe someone who found him could think he was a homeless stray.

Schmoo is described as friendly, weighing 6.5 pounds, having a bald "superman" shaped patch on his chest, a scar on top of his head, huge ears and a curious demeanor. He does have an AVID microchip.

Call Drew at (714) 642-8262 or Jenna at (818) 505-4121 if you have any information on Schmoo.

To let others know Schmoo is missing, share the Facebook link found on this page. This webpage also has more information about him.

Freedom is based on a sure identity, that I know who I am, but more importantly WHOSE I am. WhenRead More the LORD sent Moses to deliver His people, that was the beginning of their liberty. They were a particular people to the LORD, whose name is better understand as "He who was, is, and always will be." Not a god made of stone or wood, but the One who made, makes, and evermore makes and gives to us: the LORD took Israel by the hand and led them from bondage to slavery. Not who you are, but whose you are, makes all the difference between bondage and liberty: "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father." (Romans 8: 15) Have you been adopted yet? "
