Students and their families celebrated the beginning of school picnic-style at on Friday.

The 2nd Annual Welcome Back-to-School Family Picnic was sponsored by the Hermosa Beach Education Foundation.

Picnic-goers enjoyed food provided by El Gringo, a raffle, silent auction and music.
