Gum Tree hosted a centennial celebration for its home on Pier Avenue as part of the monthly . The beach bungalow that houses the local boutique has been a part of Hermosa Beach since 1911.

"For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father." (Romans 8: 15)
