Residents Voice Love for Planet Earth
Locals tell Patch what they cherish most about the Beach Cities environment. Earth Day is April 22.
Earth Day (which is celebrated this month on April 22) is a time to reflect on the natural environment—and in Hermosa Beach, residents enjoy miles of the ocean coast, grassy parks and sunny weather. Patch asked locals what they enjoy about our area's marine environment.
"It's very clean, very safe, which is nice," said Manhattan Beach resident and actor Cody Cowell. "Earth Day is definitely a great day for that because you get appreciation."
