Free Theater at Second Story

International Surf Festival

The six-day, multi-city festival kicks off on Tuesday with the Charlie Saikley 6-man Volleyball Tournament and ends on Sunday.

Event highlights in Hermosa Beach include the L.A County Lifeguard Championships Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and the Velzy-Stevens Pier-to-Pier Paddleboard Championship Sunday at 7:30 a.m.

First Thursday in Hermosa Beach

The August First Thursday will take place Thursday from 5:00-9:00 p.m. in downtown Hermosa. Participating local businesses will extend store hours and also feature specials, food and drink and entertainment.

Sunset Concerts: Poncho Sanchez

The second of four summer concerts will be held at the Hermosa Beach Pier Sunday night and will feature Latin jazz with Poncho Sanchez. All concerts are free and open to the public. Sunday's concert will start at 5:00 p.m.

Hermosa Beach Farmers Market

The weekly will be held Friday at Valley Drive and Eleventh Street starting at noon. Find fresh produce from certified farmers who produce all products at local farms.
