90210 Pad in Hermosa Beach for Rent

The well-located apartment was used in TV's '90210' to great success. Have you seen this swanky place? Do you know where it is?

If you've watched the hit TV series "Beverly Hills, 90210" filmed in the mid- to late 1990s, you may have seen a 90254 residence being used as the pad of several of the show's characters.

That "internationally known" apartment is now for rent. Price tag? $7,500 per month, according to laist.com.

Have you seen this building? Do you know where it is on The Strand? Tell us in the comments below.

Yes, I spent many years visiting that home, as often as I could, from the time I was in early grammar school (at Valley Vista and before moving to Hermosa) until the time I left the beach, in my 20's, (1960 to 1979 ,or so.) The whole building belonged to Ruth and Bob Fagenstrom, dear friends of my family, and mine. The large apartment on top must be what they built for the show, because the middle one was actually the main digs. Ruth & Bob were local artists, who originally lived in the Hollywood Hills. My parents and I stayed at the Hermosa Biltmore as many weekends as we could, and we found Hermosa Beach because of these wonderful people. (My father met Ruth when both of them designed windows for department stores, back in the hey day of Downtown Los Angeles, after the war.) I was proud to call them my honorary aunt & uncle and, since they have departed earth, have them deep within my spirit at all times. Interesting to see what has been done to the house.

Thanks for memories Vanessa. I too have great memories of the house going back more than 40 years. I knew your aunt and uncle, as well as John Peat (who rented the top unit for decades). I worked for Stan's Wines and Spirits as their deliver boy back in the late 1960's and I made many deliveries there! Of course I watched the filming of "90210" quite a few times. I still live two blocks up on Highland and I have spent my whole life at the beach at 35th! A few weeks ago, some friends rented the bottom unit to attend their MCHS 40th reunion. I joined them there and it was nice to be on the property again after all those years. "Life's a Beach" here in HB !!!
