Hermosa Beach Firefighters' 15th Annual All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast

The Hermosa Beach Firefighters Association is pleased to host their Annual Pancake Breakfast Sunday May 29th, 2011,  7:30 to 12 noon at the Hermosa Beach Fire Station located at 540 Pier Avenue during Fiesta Hermosa one of the South Bay’s biggest events.

The 15th Annual Event will showcase the culinary talents of Hermosa Beach Firefighters, Paramedics and EMT’s as they cook a breakfast of Pancakes, sausage, fruit and coffee.  Some of the ingredients have been donated by local South Bay area Java Man (Hermosa Beach), Target (Redondo Beach), Von’s (Hermosa Beach), Papa Cantella’s (Vernon), and Simply Fruit.

In the past this successful event has brought over 800 people together to kick off the start of summer during Fiesta Hermosa and last year raised almost $11,000.  This year the Association is striving to exceed those figures.

In addition to the many businesses noted above, many others and a staff of volunteers continually step forward to support the HBFA and their mission of supporting local non profits in the community.  Some of the local charities in the South Bay that have benefited from the Hermosa Beach Firefighters Association are:  Hermosa Beach Education Foundation, Hermosa Beach Little League and Sandpiper Charity Organization and many others.
