Beach Cities Take Part in dineLA

DineLA brings together more than 300 local restaurants between Jan. 22-27, and Jan. 29 – Feb. 3, offering up fixed price lunch and dinner menus. Check out the offers in the Beach Cities.

Some of the Los Angeles area's top restaurants are taking part in the two-week dineLA Restaurant event, which kicked off Sunday.

Celebrating its fifth anniversary, dineLA brings together more than 300 local eateries, offering up fixed price lunch and dinner menus.

While no Hermosa Beach eateries were listed on the event schedule, it included some tasty hot spots in neighboring Redondo and Manhattan Beach: Chart House, , , The Strand House Restaurant, Second Story at , Mucho Ultima Mexicana, and .

During the event, presented by LA INC, the Los Angeles Convention and Visitor's Bureau and American Express, a range of dining options and price points are offered in select restaurants.

"Over the five years that the dineLA program has been in place, Los Angeles’ culinary expansion has positioned the city as one of the world’s leading dining centers," said Mark Liberman, president and CEO of LA INC, in a statement. "dineLA Restaurant Week continues to provide the opportunity to explore unknown neighborhoods and experience new foods at an unbeatable value."

dineLA offers three dining categories (Deluxe, Premier, and Fine Dining) with specially priced three-course meals for lunch and-or dinner. Diners can choose from three options for each course including appetizer, entrée and dessert course.

Prices are:

  • Deluxe dining lunches: $16
  • Deluxe dining dinners: $26
  • Premier dining lunches: $22
  • Premier dining dinners: $34
  • Fine dining lunches: $28
  • Fine dining dinners: $44

Menus at each participating restaurant and a list of all participating restaurants are available to view online.
