Becker Surf Shop Undergoes Renovation
The store in Hermosa Beach will temporarily operate out of a Manhattan Beach shop on Artesia Boulevard until improvements are complete.
Hermosa Beach shoppers might be surprised to find the shop on Pier Avenue closed and under construction—but don't worry, the store will return soon.
The shop has temporarily moved to 1727 Artesia Blvd. in neighboring Manhattan Beach as the Hermosa Beach location undergoes renovation.
The building will reportedly be given a higher ceiling and "a more customer-friendly layout," according to the Easy Reader.

The renovation will continue this month and Becker Surf on Wednesday announced on its Facebook page that the company is aiming for a Nov. 15 reopening.
Becker Surf in 1980 opened its first retail store in Hermosa Beach.
