Fun Parade Footage

The city's 19th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade brought locals and others out to enjoy its unique festivities.

There's nothing quite like a parade, and the one held every year in Hermosa brings out a lot of gawkers and locals who gather to watch.

Introduced in 1995, when co-chairmen Travers Devine and Jean Cullen organized the first parade, the now annual St. Patrick's Day Parade attracts thousands of patrons to the downtown Hermosa area.

Staged for the third consecutive year by the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, which took over when the city and its volunteers could no longer fund it, the 2013 version was sponsored by Chevron, Athens Services, E&B Natural Resources and South Bay Yellow Cab Co-op, according to a chamber webpage.
