Gas Prices Still Declining

Prices at Hermosa Beach's two stations are on either side of current county average.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County declined today for the 28th consecutive day, dropping four-tenths of a cent to $4.207, its lowest amount since Feb. 23.

According the AAA site, gasoline at the Arco station at 1131 Pacific Coast Highway, is selling at $4.10 a gallon for regular, while the Mobil station at 931 Pacific Coast Highway has regular going for $4.34 a gallon.

The average price for the county is 3.5 cents less than a week ago, 17.1 cents lower than one month ago and 1.7 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has decreased 15.5 cents over the past 28 days,
including four-tenths of a cent on Sunday.
