Hermosa Beach Patch Introduces Happy Hour Roundup

After a busy day at work, when you just want to unwind with a cold beer, sweet cocktail or glass of wine, Hermosa Beach Patch will help you decide where in town to go for happy hour.

We’ve decided to launch a weekly roundup of local happy hours and drink specials. This week the focus is on Pier Plaza happenings:

Watermans

Monday through Friday, from 3 to 7 p.m., offers a half-off happy hour, according to its website. And this Thursday the local surfers' spot is hosting an afterparty for the Hermosa Beach Playhouse of the surf film Globe Year Zero.

Sangria

Tuesday through Friday, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., offers half price on all appetizers, house wine, and beer. On Thursdays, the half-off happy hour repeats from 9 to 10:30 p.m., according to the restaurant's website.

Hennessey's

offers a so-called Fabulous Friday happy hour that includes 50 percent of all appetizers from 4 to 7 p.m. The restaurant also kicks off the week by offering a shot and a beer for $5 on Monday nights. Visitors get 50 percent of all bottles of wine on "Wine-Down Wednesdays," and half off martinis on Thursdays.

Sharkeez

Monday through Friday, from 3 to 7 p.m., offers two drinks for the price one, according to its website, which says "any drink, any size."
