Martini Time

Each week, Hermosa Beach Patch publishes a and drink specials. This time, the focus is on four hot spots that serve up special deals on their classic martinis:

Ocean Bar

The rooftop lounge offers $7 martinis all night on Wednesdays, with happy hour running from 5 to 7 p.m., according to its website. Signature house martinis include "the classic" with hand-stuffed blue cheese olives, "blueberry wine," "berry crush," "strawberry hill," and the "green tini."

Hennessey's

offers half-off all martinis all day Thursday, according to its website. The restaurant's classic martini is served up with a garnish: olive, onion or a twist.

Zane's

offers $7 martinis during happy hour everyday from 5 to 7 p.m., according to its website. A Patch favorite is the , made with Svedka Swedish Vodka, fresh guava puree, lime juice and mint leaf.

Cafe Boogaloo

Drinks are two-for-one during 's "Rag Time," Monday through Friday 2 to 8 p.m., so why not treat yourself to a martini? There's the mudd-tini (if you're craving chocolate), the liberace martini is sweet and sour, and the holiday martini is shaken, not stirred.
