POLL: Does the Price of Gas Influence Your Spending?

Gas is more expensive than it was one month ago and one year ago in Los Angeles County.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County fell one-tenth of a cent today to $4.177, one day after being unchanged.

The average price has not changed by more than two-tenths of a cent for seven consecutive days, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is four-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 22.1 cents higher than one month ago and 21.2 cents greater than one year ago.

The Orange County average price was unchanged for the second consecutive day, remaining at $4.157, four-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 21.3 cents higher than one month ago and 21.4 cents greater than one year ago.

The Orange County average price has not changed by more than two-tenths
of a cent for seven consecutive days.
