Ragin Cajun Returning to Pier Avenue

The popular Cajun restaurant will reopen on Pier Avenue, near its original location.

Ragin Cajun Café is returning to a brick-and-mortar location on Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach, just down the street from where the restaurant originally stood for almost 20 years.

Ragin Cajun took to the streets as a food truck back in 2011 after the lease on its original location was not renewed, according to The Beach Reporter. Owner Steve Domingue was featured on the popular Food Network show "The Great Food Truck Race (with Tyler Florence)" while the original Ragin Cajun location was closing.

The new location is at 425 Pier Avenue, next to Buona Vita. Domingue told The Beach Reporter he plans to open the restaurant in May, but before then, he'll be cooking Ragin Cajun favorites at Suzy's Bar and Grill on April 20.
