With Valentine's Day approaching, here's a roundup of Hermosa Beach drink specials to get you in the mood.

While Hermosa Beach features a number of venues where either singles can flirt or a couple can enjoy date night, deciding which drinks to order during the occasion can get complicated.

So we've decided to pinpoint certain cocktails served only in Hermosa Beach to try when you've been bit by the love bug:

Abigaile

If you're meeting someone new, try a new happy hour spot, such as (which was formerly Union Cattle Company.) Among the new flavors on its drink menu is the Keenan76, which is described as "heavenly and sweet" on the restaurant's website. The grapefruit cocktail includes sparkling wine to add spark to your night.

Mediterraneo

For old-fashioned romance try the "Old Fashioned" cocktail at . The cocktail is a mixture of Rye whiskey, Angostura sugar, orange peel, and cherry, according to the restaurant's website. The venue hosts happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Zane's restaurant

The El Corazon at could steal any dinner date's heart. The cocktail is a mixture of Skyy blood orange vodka, fresh blood orange puree, and mandarine. While the cocktail is not included in happy hour specials, the restaurant hosts happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. daily.

Hennessey's

The rooftop ocean view, especially during sunset, sets apart from other happy hour spots. Try the restaurant's signature Buena Vista's Irish Coffee as a way to slow down the day with someone special.
