Stanley Cup Visits North End Bar & Grill

Owner John Courts told a reporter he had no idea Los Angeles Kings players would bring the Cup to his establishment to celebrate in the early hours of Tuesday.

North End Bar & Grill in Hermosa Beach got a surprise in the wee hours of the morning Tuesday when Los Angeles Kings players stopped by to share the team's first Stanely Cup, according to TMZ.

The local bar is a favorite hangout for goalie Jonathan Quick and other players who decided a celebration at the venue was in order.

"The Stanley Cup was on the bar," owner John Courts told the Los Angeles Times. "To see it in the house, to touch it, it's just special…. I'm really speechless."

Courts told the Times he had "no idea" the Kings would show at his place.

"It was amazing, it was beyond anything," he said. "Just tell the world these guys are really great."

Freedom is based on a sure identity, that I know who I am, but more importantly WHOSE I am. WhenRead More the LORD sent Moses to deliver His people, that was the beginning of their liberty. They were a particular people to the LORD, whose name is better understand as "He who was, is, and always will be." Not a god made of stone or wood, but the One who made, makes, and evermore makes and gives to us: the LORD took Israel by the hand and led them from bondage to slavery. Not who you are, but whose you are, makes all the difference between bondage and liberty: "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father." (Romans 8: 15) Have you been adopted yet? "
