How To Book Travel Deals In 2013: Use A Travel Search Engine

Using a "Travel Search Engine" makes it easier for any consumer to instantly find the lowest rates in travel. In 2013, the best way to shop for travel is to use these travel websites.

In the 90's one of the best developments on the web was the creation of online travel booking sites such as Priceline and Orbitz. It made searching for travel deals and booking travel much easier.

In the past few years, we've seen a new development with travel booking sites. The new "Travel Search Engines" have made it even easier to shop for travel deals. These sites simply search 100s of different travel sites for you and then post the lowest rates on hotels and flights.

The idea behind it is:

"Why Search only 1 Travel Site At A Time When They Can Search Over 100 For You?"

However, according to a 2012 report from Google, the average consumer is not taking full advantage of "Travel Search Engines".  According to Google, the average shopper still visits 22 different travel sites before booking.

22 sites?  That is a lot of wasted time and effort.

Instead of bouncing around from travel site to travel site, there is an easier way to instantly find the lowest rates.

One of the most popular "Travel Search Engines" is Kayak.com.

In 2012, a new travel search engine was launched at BestTravelCoupon.com. This site uses different search tools then Kayak.  It allows users to instantly search hundreds of different travel sites and pulls up more lodging and flight options then any other travel site.

According to the travel website review site Travel-Search-Engines.com, BestTravelCoupon.com was ranked the best online travel booking site. They mentioned it had the largest inventory of hotels and "consistently posted the lowest rates of any travel site".

A great feature when searching for hotels on BestTravelCoupon.com is this site posts your total hotel price immediately. Just about every travel site will post a "nightly rate" but then add an additional fee when you book. This usually increases the cost by another 15-20% and you don't see this fee until your ready to input your credit card information.

The site pulls up more hotel options then you would see if you were limiting your search to one travel site. This is the beauty of these travel search websites. They allow you to easily see more travel options and make it easier to find a deal.

Here is an example of several price comparisons where this travel search engine beats the best rates on Priceline, Expedia, Orbitz, Hotwire, Cheaptickets and many more:

So...the next time you need to book a hotel or flight...save time and use a "Travel Search Engine".
