Abigaile's Lil Sis Set To Spice Up Your Life

In the restaurant world, small spaces lend themselves to a more focused cuisine. That's certainly the thought behind Little Sister, a new downtown Manhattan Beach eatery slated to open soon.

The 50-seat Little Sister to Abigaile Restaurant in Hermosa Beach will reportedly lend itself to Abigaile Executive Chef Tin Vuong's interpretation of Euro-influenced Southeast Asian cuisine. Say what? Call it a blend of French techniques and British influences that can be found historically in the southeast part of Asia.

That said, Vuong and partner Jed Sanford, owner of Abigaile, intend to locally source their menu with adding in the spices and flavors of Asian countries that include Malaysia, Laos, Singapore and Cambodia.
