The 41st Annual “Fiesta Hermosa” will take place Memorial Day weekend, May 25th through 27th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in downtown Hermosa Beach.
Staged by the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, the fiesta offers something for everyone, from arts and crafts and creative vendors to live music on two stages to kids' carnival rides to a charity beer and wine garden to all sorts of food choices.
The event has ushered in summer in Hermosa Beach since 1972, and is dubbed the “Largest Arts & Crafts Fair in Southern California." Approximately 300 painters, photographers, ceramicists, jewelers, sculptors and handicrafters will sell their wares.
A food court with a wide variety of choices including Thai, Greek, Mexican and tri-tip sandwiches will be available as will a Charity Beer & Wine Garden whose proceeds benefit local charities. The Kiddie Carnival features a 30-foot slide, mechanical rides, games for kids from 3- to 10-years-old, pony rides, a petting zoo and face painters.
Attendees my park in the Northrop Grumman Building 04 lot at 15092 Aviation Blvd. and take a free shuttle to the fiesta. The shuttle will run each day from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The parking lot is north of the intersection of Aviation Blvd. and Marine St. in Hawthorne on the west side of Aviation Blvd.
Bicyclists may use a free valet service provided by Hermosa Cycley just south of the Hermosa Beach Pier, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily. An on-site diagnostic checkup will be avaulable.
