Memorial Day Closings
City government offices, banks and local services will be closed Monday for the federal holiday.
In observance of Memorial Day, all municipal offices, banks and post offices will be closed on Monday. The American stock market will be closed, but most foreign markets will be open. Here are more closures to be mindful of in Hermosa Beach:
Hermosa Beach Library will be closed, as well as Hermosa Valley and Hermosa View schools. All schools in the Manhattan Beach Unified School District and Redondo Beach Unified School District will be closed.
There will be no youth night at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on Sunday, and school will be closed on Monday.

There will be no trash pickup and no street sweeping. But — with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day — all parking meters are still enforced in Hermosa Beach on national holidays.
Beach Cities Transit will operate on a Saturday schedule.
