Thanksgiving Day Closures to Remember

City government offices, banks and libraries will be closed Thursday for the holiday.

 

In observance of Thanksgiving Day, all municipal offices, banks and post offices will be closed Thursday.

Here are more closures to be mindful of in Hermosa Beach:

City Hall and the  will be closed.

 and  schools closed Nov. 21 for the holiday and students will not resume classes until Monday.

All schools in the Manhattan Beach Unified School District and Redondo Beach Unified School District will be closed. 

Major banks will be closed.

There will be no trash pickup and no street sweeping. As a result, collections for the remainder of the week will be delayed one day.

Beach Cities Transit will not provide service, as the bus line does not operate on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving or Christmas.
