Two Hermosa Beach Police officers are among the 9 South Bay law enforcement officers being recognized with a Distinguished Service Award. Manhattan Beach Fire Department Captain Dave Shenbaum is receiving the Medla of Valor and will be honored with the others at a luncheon Thursday.
Hermosa Beach officers Josh Droz and Dean Garkow are being honored for their quick responses and action to save a man's life.
