Banner Space

The City Council decided Tuesday to direct city staff to on downtown light poles. It's common practice for most cities to have a policy on the use of street light-pole banner space, City Manager Steve Burrell told the council.

Auctioning Artistic Panels

The  raised slightly more than $30,000 for local schools and foundations Friday night (see accompanying photos). “I want to get some of the artwork,” said Beach Cities resident Scott Rusher. “I saw them at the beach, we kept seeing them all summer.”
