Hermosa Beach residents protested the idea of allowing oil drilling in town. As locals demanded more details on the Macpherson Oil lawsuit settlement from officials, the council discussed working to inform the public.

Interim city manager update

John Jalili has been selected by the City Council to temporarily replace Steve Burrell as , city officials announced Tuesday. Jalili has extensive experience in city government.
