Downtown Torrance Market Place Celebrates Summer Thursday July 11th
The Downtown Torrance Market Place is held every Thursday from 3 to 8 PM in historic downtown Torrance. Each week there are different activities and sellers. This week it is all about summer with a free supervised crafting activity for the kids, carnival games to benefit The Volunteer Center Youth Coalition, face painting by The Painted Life, photo booth by Kathleen's Kreations. Local artist Eddie DeAngelini of Collectors will be signing his book, cooking demos by 1321 Taproom Bistro at 5:30 & 6:30. Antique appraisals by Dave Brownlee and DJ Ozzie will be playing summer tunes and announcing raffle winners every half hour. Some of the sellers & merchandise being sold include: soaps, aromatherapy products, hand knit hats & purses, jewelry, plants, coins, Hot Wheels, wind chimes, art, baby clothes, quilts AND Pampered Chef, Avon, Cin's Purses, Gold Canyon, Lia Sophia Jewelry, Sentsy, Tomboy Tools, Kitty Kickers & More. FREE PARKING at The Depot Restaurant, 1250 Cabrillo & the Public Parking structure on Sartori as well as Bank of America and Wells Fargo parking lots after 6 PM.
