Saint-Saëns: Dance Macabre
Fauré: Sonata No. 1, Op. 13 in A Major
Poulenc: Sonata for violin and piano
Ravel: Tzigane

A 2010 laureate of the
prestigious Fondation Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet in France, violinist Étienne Gara was invited to participate
in the Perlman Music Program in New York in 2009 and 2010. Later he joined
violinist Itzhak Perlman for the winter residency of the festival in Sarasota,
FL and for a tour in Israel. He has performed recitals throughout Europe and
North America.

Mr.
Gara is currently under the tutelage of celebrated violinist Midori, at

University of Southern California, in Los Angeles.
Mr. Gara is a violin
instructor at USC and at HYPERIUMconservatory.

Izumi Kashiwagi has been celebrated in North America and Japan as a soloist, but is also an experienced chamber musician and has performed with Peter Stumpf, the former principal cellist of Los Angeles Philharmonic. She has
recently been acknowledged as Liszt scholar/Piano artist from Liszt international competition.

Ms. Kashiwagi is currently
working on a doctoral degree receiving a full-scholarship, Koldofsky fellowship
and teaching assistantship. She is also a piano and music theory instructor at
HYPERIUMconservatory.
