The Power of Art is an annual arts exhibit presented by the Redondo Beach Art Group. This year, the eighth annual Power of Art will be held at the Redondo Beach Elks Lodge, 315 Esplanade, Redondo Beach. Please join us for our opening reception on Friday evening, October 18, 2013 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

The event will showcase new and exciting artwork by members of the Redondo Beach Art Group inspired by our theme of “Connections.”

Juror/Curator: Scott Canty, Director of Exhibitions at Palos Verdes Art Center and Director of exhibition/ curator at LAMAG, LAX/ONT Airports, DCA Slide Registry.

Beginning with Friday night’s reception, which includes a no-host bar, we will be featuring dance performances by Gabriela Simich and Ellen Bigelow, as well as a fun way to “connect” with each other with photos in a photo booth. The weekend will continue by featuring a free sculpture workshop by Cinthia Joyce, face painting for all ages, music and more!

We are looking forward to celebrating RBAG’s theme inspired and art filled annual community event.
