Save Nina - A3M/Be the Match Typing Drive (Simple Cheek Swab Test) -- Day 1

Nina Louie is a Manhattan Beach resident and she needs our help

to spread the word about the bone marrow registry.  A simple swab of the

cheeks can potentially save a life.  Nina has lymphoma which can be

treated, however she has not found a match in the registry. Nina means

everything to the people who know her, but she has less than one month to find

a bone marrow match. She is married to the love of her life, and their two year

old son, Donovan, utterly adores his mama. Nina has a smile that lights up a room
and has a heart as big as Texas, where she grew up. The fastest way to help is
to get typed at a local drive.

During the drive, all donors do is fill
out a form and swab their cheeks.  That’s it.  If there is a perfect
match with a patient the registry will contact donors directly.  You must
be 18-44 years old, meet health guidelines and be willing to donate to any
patient in need.  You can visit www.savenina.com

to find out more.

The location of the drive will be center court near the fountain.  Day 2 of this drive will be at the same
location, Sunday August 11 from 11am-3pm. Thank you!
