The Samburu Project's 5th Annual Walk for Water

The Samburu Project’s Walk for Water will have participants of all ages walk (run, bike, stroll, scoot) the  4-mile loop between Hermosa Beach Pier and Manhattan Beach Pier, starting at American Junkie. The event culminates with a delicious pancake breakfast and exciting raffle. Children will have an opportunity to learn the importance of water conservation and play at the world of water Kid's Corner sponsored by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. Radio Disney will be there to join in the fun.

The Samburu people in Northern Kenya do not have access to clean, safe drinking water. The Samburu Project offers a simple solution to an extraordinary problem by providing easy access to water to these communities through our well drilling initiatives. We hope to raise $$$ for additional wells. 63 wells have been drilled to date.
