The Peter Zippi Foundation will be hosting cat and dog adoptions this Friday, August 14 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and August 15 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Pet Mart on Aviation Boulevard.
This charity was founded in 1977 in memory of Peter Zippi, a young man dedicated to the care of animals. The Fun has adopted out over 11,500 pets since then. The fund is run by wonderful volunteers who work tirelessly to help those who can't help themselves. The fund sponsors medical treatment, shelter, and adoptions for lost and homeless animals.
