Friends of Priscilla Ruiz, who died last Saturday when her car and a taxi collided in North Redondo Beach, are hosting a car wash in Hope Chapel's parking lot to raise money for Ruiz's family.
The event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
