Emergency Operations Center Opening

Citizens and Civic Organizations worked with the City of Hermosa Beach to complete the Emergency Operations Center (EOC).  We will celebrate the unveiling of Hermosa's first and only free-standing EOC on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 2 p.m.

Housed in the Hermosa Beach Community Center, the EOC will serve as a club room for the Hermosa Beach Amateur Radio Association (HBARA) and meeting room for public safety community groups, while serving as a training room for both Fire and Police Departments.
