Community Corner

February Documentary Screening: "FLOW: For the Love of Water" and Potluck

Come join us in watching “FLOW” in the Shuder Library at the Pacific Unitarian Church.  This documentary is about the global crisis we face as Earth's fresh water supply constantly diminishes. The film presents top experts and advocates to show us that every aspect of human life is affected by pollution, wastefulness, privatization and corporate greed as it relates to a natural resource that's more valuable than oil. The film will be followed by community discussion.  To view the trailer visit www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGd9D4J0lag

Light refreshments will be served.  Bring your favorite dish for the potluck and recipe to share with others.  $5 donation is suggested.  Donated canned food items are given to local food outreach programs.  RSVP to transitionsouthbayla@gmail.com to reserve your seat.
