The City of Hermosa Beach and Leadership Hermosa Beach are accepting nominees for the Third Annual Emerging Leader Award. We are seeing an individual who has exhibited strong leadership benefiting the community of Hermosa Beach and has shownpotential for an expanded leadership role but may not have the body of work to
warrant other accolades. In addition, the nominee must:
1) Be a resident of Hermosa Beach and does not have to be an alumni of Leadership Hermosa Beach
2) Not have received the Hermosa Beach Man or Woman of the Year

3) Have never been elected to Hermosa beach City Council or higher office
4) Not be a member of the current Emerging Leader Selection Committee

All nominates will be considered by the Selection Committee. The winner will be announced in
November 2012. The recipient will receive a custom medal, certificate, award and recognition at both the
Leadership Hermosa Beach BALL Award Ceremony and Hermosa Beach City Council meeting.
