The Great California Shakeout, an annual statewide earthquake drill, will be held on Oct. 21 at 10:21 a.m. More than 5.4 million Californians are already registered to participate, including the Hermosa Beach police and fire departments.
The Shakeout drill is held on the third Thursday of every October, and this year, Nevada is joining in on the effort.
