Community Update

As a lifetime resident of the South Bay, I have been to the saloon MANY times as well as have family that frequents it often and is friends with the owner and bartenders. So, you can imagine my shock and surprise when my 24 year old brother called me last night to tell me that he had been JUMPED by 4 guys there last night. Not only was he jumped, but no employees ever tried to help him or break it up. Why, you ask? Well, those 4 guys were the bartenders friends! He was thrown to the ground and continuously kicked in the head, face and ribs... 4 against 1. After the disturbing incident was over, my brother was told by the bartender (Patrick) that "those guys are his friends and my brother got what he deserved". SO... If you are looking for a local bar to go have a few drinks at and enjoy getting jumped while all the employees stand back and just let it happen, THE HERMOSA SALOON is the place to go! I myself, as well as my husband, some friends and family will NEVER give that SHITHOLE bar another dime of our money! I will also be posting this on ANY AND ALL business review websites and will be discouraging EVERY person I know from ever going there!
My brother ended up in the hospital this morning with a massively swollen head, face and ear and may also have a few broken ribs. It is appalling and incredibly disturbing that something like this would be ENCOURAGED by employees, not thinking about the possibility of serious injury or possibly death, all because "those were his friends".
Oh ya, I also forgot to mention that the OWNER of the bar, punched my youngest brother last night in the parking lot, also. My brother is 22 and has a SERIOUS seizure condition.
This is how you run a business? This is how you treat your customers that pay your bills, keep your bar open, pay your employees and are responsible for your livelihood? Good luck with that! Remember... KARMA IS A BITCH!
