I was wondering what people like to do at the beach, so I asked twenty-seven kids what their favorite thing to do at the beach was. The choices were surf, swim, play volleyball, and boogey board. At first, I thought boogey boarding was going to win because of all the votes it got, but later on the one that grew very popular was swimming with ten votes! The least popular was playing volleyball, it had only one vote. Second place was boogie boarding with nine votes. It was pretty close between swimming and boogie boarding! Surfing got third place because it had seven votes.

I think swimming won because most people don’t know how to surf or play volleyball, so they just went with swimming. Volleyball probably got the least because the beach is famous for it’s wonderful ocean and a lot of people would want to go in the water. Surfing and boogie boarding were popular but not enough to be crowned the winner of the beach!
