This Dec. 10 the annual Snow Fest on Pier Avenue took place with snow covering the streets from Pier Plaza to Becker Surf Shop.

The day right after that happened to be the day when they launch the Christmas fireworks.

Spyder brings in large wood chippers to shred up ice to create snow. When the roads are completely covered, snowboarders ride down the streets with tricks that are watched by many amazed fans.

The very next day, fireworks are launched off of the Manhattan Pier for many residents to enjoy. Its explosions lasted for 15 minutes and they finished it off with a grand finale that could be heard for miles around.
