Hermosa Valley 4th Grade Class is Giving

Gabby Baker and Jordyn Tonne, Hermosa Valley School students, write about Mrs. Smith's student donors of the holiday season.

Editor’s Note: Hermosa Valley School’s sixth grade journalism class is using the Patch blog to post some of their work under the guidance of teacher Christine Duclos.

By Gabby Baker and Jordyn Tonne

Mrs. Smith's loyal and caring class has been collecting money for the past month, to help an organization called World Vision.

Each student in her class has been working very hard to earn one dollar by doing chores for their parents, neighbors, or even their very own teacher Mrs. Smith.

They have been dedicating their time to help children in need or the less fortunate.

Mrs. Smith's class has learned about different cultures around the world as well as math skills.

Mrs. Smith's class donations are changing the lives of children and adults who are needy.
