The Best Journalism Class

      Extra! Extra!  The journalism class at Hermosa Valley School, second quarter, 2012-13, has a great class and teacher. The students have shown their fabulous reporting skills.  How are we such great writers, you ask?  Well, it’s all thanks to our amazing teacher, Mrs. Duclos.

      We have been working early November and will end in early February. We have done many fascinating projects that not only teach us about journalism but it also helps us get to know each other like from interviews and surveys.

Our teacher inspires us about writing. According to Kira Walker- Van Aalst, Mrs. Duclos is a, “brilliant, engaging, and fun teacher,” and Lily Eun said, “Mrs. Duclos is a nice and helpful teacher.” Journalism has been a great class this school year.
